Speed Mingle Event Policy: Comprehensive Guide to Refunds, Registration Transfers, and Credit/Debit Card Chargebacks
This comprehensive document serves to formally articulate and clearly define the definitive policies governing all aspects of financial transactions, including refunds, registration transfers, and the management of credit/debit card chargebacks, pertaining exclusively to events organized, hosted, and administered by Speed Mingle. Compliance with this policy is a mandatory condition of ticket purchase and event registration.
I. Core Financial Policy: All Sales Are Final
A. General Refund Stance
All purchases of tickets and registrations for Speed Mingle events are considered definitive, binding, and final at the time of transaction completion. Subject to the singular exception detailed in Section II, refunds will not be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to: non-attendance, change of personal schedule, dissatisfaction with the event format, or inability to secure transportation.
II. Specific Refund Provision: Event Cancellation
A. Refunds for Canceled and Unheld Events
The only circumstance under which a monetary refund will be processed is if Speed Mingle, at its sole discretion, elects to fully and formally cancel an event, resulting in its non-occurrence. Should such a cancellation occur, the following provisions shall govern the refund process:
- Credit Method Mandate: All approved refunds shall be processed and credited exclusively back to the precise, original method of payment (e.g., credit card, debit card, CashApp) that was utilized by the participant to complete the initial purchase. No refunds will be issued by cash, check, or to a different payment instrument.
- Processing Timeframe Commitment: The refund transaction will be formally initiated and the credit applied to the customer’s financial institution within a guaranteed maximum timeframe of thirty (30) calendar days from the date the event was originally scheduled to commence and subsequently canceled. Customers should note that the time taken for the funds to reflect in their bank or card statement is subject to their individual banking institution’s processing times.
III. Policy on Events Rescheduled by Speed Mingle
A. Non-Refundable Rescheduling
No refunds, credits, or other forms of monetary compensation will be provided to participants in the event that an event is postponed and subsequently rescheduled to a new date. This clause applies specifically when the rescheduling is necessitated by circumstances deemed to be force majeure or unforeseen events that are beyond the reasonable control of both Speed Mingle and HRBUniversal. Such exceptional circumstances include, but are not limited to: severe, hazardous weather conditions (e.g., blizzards, hurricanes, flash floods), unanticipated or last-minute venue complications (e.g., double-booking, structural maintenance issues, utility failures), declared state or local emergencies, acts of government, or public health crises.
IV. Detailed Registration Transfer Protocol
A. Eligibility for Transfer
Participants who are unable to attend the originally purchased event are permitted to formally request the transfer of their paid registration to the subsequent available Speed Mingle event. This eligibility is strictly contingent upon two critical conditions:
- Geographic Proximity: The subsequent event must be scheduled and held within a sixty (60) mile maximum radius of the original venue location.
- Transfer Conditions Adherence: The request must fully comply with all the following stipulated transfer conditions:
- Mandatory Request Deadline: The formal transfer request must be submitted via electronic mail (email) to the designated transfer management team at TheSpeedMingle.com. This email must be received no later than twenty-four (24) hours following the original event’s official scheduled start time and date. Requests received after this strict deadline will be automatically denied.
- Strict Transfer Limit: Each paid registration is strictly limited to a single, one-time transfer. This transfer can only be applied to the immediate subsequent available event that falls within the aforementioned sixty (60) mile radius. Further transfers or subsequent refund requests on the transferred registration will not be entertained.
V. Credit/Debit Card Chargeback Policy Enforcement
A. Acknowledgment and Consent
By successfully completing the online or in-person purchase of a ticket or registration for any Speed Mingle event, the customer explicitly acknowledges, consents to, and agrees to abide by all terms stipulated within this rigorous Chargeback Policy. Speed Mingle maintains and adheres to a stringent, zero-tolerance policy of formally and aggressively challenging all credit or debit card chargebacks that are initiated for reasons deemed illegitimate, non-policy-compliant, or frivolous, such as, but not limited to: participant non-attendance (a “no-show”), general dissatisfaction with the subjective event experience, or a failure to adhere to the transfer policy in Section IV.
B. Formal Challenge of Illegitimate Chargebacks
Speed Mingle reserves its unequivocal right to aggressively challenge, contest, and defend against any chargeback that is determined to constitute an abuse of the financial chargeback system. We maintain and leverage a comprehensive portfolio of documentary evidence for every transaction, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Original transaction records and receipts.
- Confirmation correspondence, including email and text notifications.
- Detailed event registration data and check-in records (if applicable).
- All relevant customer communications regarding the purchase and event.
C. Consequences of Challenged and Overturned Chargebacks
Customers who initiate an illegitimate or non-compliant chargeback that is subsequently and formally challenged by Speed Mingle should be made fully cognizant of the following severe potential financial and legal consequences that may ensue:
- Collection Costs and Financial Liability: Should the chargeback be formally challenged and ultimately overturned by the bank/card issuer in favor of Speed Mingle, the customer shall become solely liable for significant and mandatory costs associated with the professional collection of the original event funds. This may include, but is not limited to, the original purchase price, all accrued interest on the outstanding balance, and all applicable third-party legal, arbitration, and collection agency fees.
- Formal Fraud Claim and Reporting: If a chargeback claim is initiated and determined to be definitively fraudulent, especially in light of documented evidence of purchase and registration, Speed Mingle reserves the absolute right to file a formal, documented fraud claim and police report with the local Sheriff’s department at the appropriate jurisdiction of the business, identified as Place.
D. Crucial Customer Recommendation
Customers who harbor any concerns, dissatisfaction, or issues regarding an event purchase, or believe a mistake has been made, are strongly encouraged to contact Speed Mingle customer support directly and immediately via email at TheSpeedMingle@HRBUni.net. This outreach must occur prior to initiating any chargeback action with their bank or card issuer. Direct communication allows for potential resolution without incurring the significant legal and financial risks associated with a disputed chargeback.
VI. Mandatory Policy Adherence and Event Attendance
A. Attendance and Chargeback Initiation
Customers who are unable to attend a registered event, for any reason, must strictly adhere to the published registration transfer and cancellation policy detailed in Sections I and IV. The unilateral initiation of a chargeback with a financial institution in lieu of following the established, published policy will be viewed as an illegitimate action and may result in the immediate imposition of the severe financial and legal consequences outlined comprehensively in Section V (B and C).
