Birmingham was built on three things: Iron, Coal, and Limestone. At Birmingham District Brewing Company, we pay homage to the geology and the grit that put this city on the map.

Located in the heart of “The Battery,” our brewery is a tribute to the hard-working history of the Birmingham District. We don’t just brew beer; we brew liquid stories. From our industrial aesthetic to our geology-inspired names, everything we do is rooted in a deep respect for where we come from and a bold vision for where craft beer is going.

We believe beer should be as bold as the city it’s brewed in. Our small-batch system allows us to take risks, push boundaries, and deliver high-quality brews that don’t cut corners.

Flagship Brews:

• Lose Your Way IPA: Our signature New England IPA. Hazy, juicy, and packed with Citra and Mosaic hops. It’s the beer that put us on the map.
• Birmingham Pilsner: Crisp, clean, and refreshing. A classic German-style pilsner brewed for the working class.
• Pecans & Cream: A smooth, dark ale with notes of roasted pecans and vanilla. Southern comfort in a glass.
• Falling Rock: A rotating sour series that explores fresh fruits and tart finishes.

The Battery’s Backyard

Our taproom is the heartbeat of the Birmingham District. With a mix of industrial grit and modern comfort, it’s the perfect spot to clock out and chill out.

• The Patio: Enjoy the Alabama weather in our spacious, open-air courtyard. It’s the best seat in the house for sunset sips.
• Dog Friendly: We love your four-legged friends! Leashed dogs are always welcome on the patio and in the taproom.
• Food & Fun: While we focus on the beer, we partner with the city’s best food trucks and neighboring restaurants to keep you fed. Plus, grab a board game or join a trivia team.

There is no “quiet night” here. We keep the calendar full with events that bring the community together.

• Music: From acoustic patio sessions to full bands, we showcase local Bham talent.
