Speed Mingle, which was established in 2001, is widely recognized as “The Original Speed Dating & Networking Experience.” However, over the years, approximately 90% of speed dating companies that were launched have ceased operations. This can be attributed to two main factors: failure to maintain high-quality events and the unauthorized release of participants’ personal information to individuals they did not wish to meet.
IS MY PERSONAL INFORMATION SHARED?
Speed Mingle facilitates connections between individuals based on shared interests. During events, participants interact using only their first names to maintain privacy. Unlike many speed dating companies, Speed Mingle safeguards personal information such as last names, email addresses, and phone numbers. The platform empowers users to control what information they share and ensure that their privacy remains intact. It firmly believes that sharing personal information should always be a conscious choice made by individuals themselves.
HOW DO I KNOW WHO I MATCH WITH?
Before attending the event, you’ll complete your profile by sharing your interests. The Speed Mingle system will then calculate the percentage of common interests you share with other attendees.
The web app lets you view the compatibility percentage and profile pictures of all your matches, helping you identify potential connections. If both parties express mutual interest, you can initiate a chat using the web app’s chat feature, ensuring that personal information is not shared until you’re comfortable.
Unlike traditional speed dating companies where you submit a card with your matches at the end of the night, Speed Mingle takes a different approach. Within one to two days after the event, the company will send you a list of your matches and their personal information, allowing you to connect with them further.
WILL THERE BE EQUAL MEN/WOMEN?
Our company’s extensive size enables us to leverage our sizable customer database to maintain a balanced attendance at most events, aiming to provide you with an optimal experience. While we strive for perfection, unforeseen circumstances, such as people purchasing tickets but not attending, may occur, making it impossible to guarantee a perfect turnout. Nevertheless, our dedicated efforts ensure that each event has the ideal number of participants. It’s important to remember that the Speed Mingle event is designed to foster connections for friendship, professional networking, or perhaps a traditional date. Individuals can possess diverse interests that align with those of others of the same gender, fostering potential connections for friendship or professional collaborations.
WHAT IS THE AGE OF PEOPLE AT SPEED MINGLE EVENTS?
At Speed Mingle, we believe great chemistry transcends numbers. While our events attract a vibrant professional crowd—typically ranging from their mid-30s to early 60s—we welcome all adults ages 21 and over.

DO YOU GUARANTEE THAT I WILL MATCH AT A SPEED MINGLE EVENT?
While Speed Mingle is designed to maximize your chances of meeting someone special, we cannot guarantee that you will receive a match at any specific event. Matching depends entirely on mutual interest between participants.
I WANT TO KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE REGISTERED FOR THE EVENT?

To ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, Speed Mingle maintains a strict privacy policy regarding event demographics. We do not disclose specific registration data—including headcounts, age ranges, gender identities, or racial backgrounds—to other participants prior to or after the event. We believe in fostering a safe, unbiased environment where connections happen organically. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep our events a private and secure experience for everyone.
DO I GET A REFUND IF SOMEONE DOES NOT MATCH WITH ME AT A SPEED MINGEL EVENT?
While we’d love for everyone to find a connection, we do not offer refunds if you don’t find a match. Our ticket price covers the curation of the event, the venue space, and the opportunity to meet several new people in one night. Chemistry is the one thing we can’t manufacture, but we do guarantee a fun, safe, and organized environment to try!
DO I GET A REFUND IF NO ONE IS IN MY AGE GROUP ?
While we attract a wide variety of people, we cannot control the specific age demographics of any single night. Because we maintain an open-age policy to ensure everyone feels welcome, we are unable to issue refunds based on the age of other participants. We encourage you to join us with an open mind!
DO YOU SEND EVENT REMINDERS OUT?
Yes! To help you prepare, we send out reminder emails 48 to 24 hours before the event, as well as a final reminder on the day of the event. These are sent to the email address you used during registration.

EVENT CANCELATION NOTICES?
While we always look forward to hosting you, Speed Mingle occasionally has to postpone or cancel an event due to low registration. Decisions regarding event status are made 24 hours before the scheduled start time. In the event of a change, all notices are sent via email to the address provided during registration.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Usually Smart Casual. Think of it as a first date or a nice dinner out. For men, a clean shirt and nice jeans/chinos; for women, a dress or a stylish top and trousers. Basically dress as if yoru were with your grandmother in public. If she would not approve of what you are wearing, change.

Most events have a strict start time to ensure everyone gets to meet. But when you arrive, we add you to the mix.
